As of the census of 2010, there were 242,803 people, 86,210 households, and 51,898 families residing in the city. The age distribution was 24.0% under the age of 18, 18.2% from 18 to 24, 29.9% from 25 to 44, 16.9% from 45 to 64, and 10.9% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 30 years. The median income for a household in the city was $31,815, and the median income for a family was $36,891.
